PLUG

A tire plug on its own is a sticky, expandable object that gets pushed from the outside of the tire into the damaged or punctured area of the tire tread to the inside of the tire and is adjusted until the air is no longer leaking from the tire.

Tire plugs can wear down over time and air or water leaks can reoccur.

It is easy to believe that the tire is permanently repaired and good to go; unfortunately, that's not the case. Tire plugs are a quick fix and can fail over time.

PATCH/PATCH PLUG

A patch, is considered to be a better quality tire repair. However, it’s a bit more laborious of a repair than a plug. Patching a tire actually consists of removing the tire from the rim and then using a die grinder to clean up a 2-inch diameter around the puncture to give the patch enough of an area to bond with. The patch is then pushed from inside the tire through the outside of the tire, sealed, and let dry.

The best modern tire repair solution is a plug/patch combo product. This is one piece and it combines the best benefits of both options.

BALANCE

Tire balancing is one of the recommended services listed in your vehicle’s owner’s manual. Often confused with wheel alignment, tire balancing is important for assuring the best performance from a vehicle, and for gaining the longest service life from tires.

Tire balancing provides a smooth ride and assures even tire wear by properly adjusting the tire weight distribution around the vehicle. As you drive, your tires lose balance, so periodic tire balancing service is needed to return proper balance. Over time, tread wear causes the distribution of weight around the tire to change, which leads to  the imbalance. This may be felt in unusual shaking or vibration as you drive.

ROTATION

By having your tires rotated, you can maintain a more even amount of tread on your tires. Evenly worn tires contribute to a smooth and comfortable ride.

Tire rotation, that is routinely repositioning your vehicle’s tires in specific patterns from front to back or side to side, is an important element of tire upkeep and safety. Additionally, rotating your tires may also be required to keep your tires covered under warranty.

ALIGNMENT

Wheel alignment goes a long way to keeping your tires and vehicle healthy and performing properly. Even though it is called a "wheel" alignment, it's really your suspension that is unaligned and this can affect your vehicle in multiple ways.
